Overview
Number Forge is a daily number puzzle. Every day brings exactly one new puzzle: combine six numbers using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to forge the target number. Pick two tiles and an operation, forge them into a new number, and work your way to the target in as few operations as you can.
Because there is only one puzzle per day and everyone in the world gets the same one, it becomes a short daily brain habit rather than an endless time sink. Par shows the minimum possible number of operations, so even after you solve it there's a reason to think harder. Once you solve it, see where you stand on the optional Game Center daily leaderboard (scores start at 2,000), and look for other ways to forge the target to raise your title for the day. Streaks, par-match counts, and spoiler-free result sharing keep the habit going.
Not quite there? You can finish whenever you like: within 10 of the target earns 2 stars and within 25 earns 1 star, and stars keep your streak going. Once you have finished, you can see an example solution, and finishing today's puzzle also unlocks practice on earlier dates. A Home Screen widget (small and medium) shows today's target before you solve, or your result after, and an optional once-a-day reminder helps you keep the chain. The app and widget are available in the 13 App Store languages.

How to Use
- Open the app - today's puzzle appears immediately, no onboarding, no menus.
- Pick two number tiles and an operation to forge them into a new number.
- Keep combining until you hit the target; use undo or reset if you take a wrong turn. If you cannot get there, you can finish whenever you like and still earn stars.
- Try to match par - the minimum possible number of operations.
- After solving, check your place on the Daily Forge leaderboard (optional Game Center sign-in), look for other ways to reach the target, and share your result as spoiler-free text.
- Come back tomorrow for the next puzzle and keep your streak alive - the widget shows the new target at a glance.

Privacy
No account is required, and there are no ads and no tracking. Your progress - solved days, streaks, and settings - is stored locally on your device (shared with the widget via an App Group, on-device only), with no iCloud sync and no server of our own. Signing in to Game Center is optional; only if you do, your daily score is sent to Game Center for the leaderboard, and everything else works without it. The optional daily reminder is a local notification.

How does the daily puzzle work?
